1. Never Expose to Direct Flames

PTFE-coated fiberglass is heat-resistant, not fireproof. Never allow this sheet to contact open flames, gas burner flames, charcoal, or other direct combustion sources. Direct flame exposure can damage the material and may release harmful fumes.

2. Never Place Directly on Hot Surfaces

Do not place directly on or over:

• Electric coil burners or heating elements.
• Glass, ceramic, or induction cooktop cooking zones.
• Hot plates, griddles, or heated cooking plates.
• Oven floors or heating elements.
• Open-flame grills or charcoal grills.
• Other directly heated surfaces or uncontrolled heat sources.

3. Gas Stove and Cooktop Restrictions

General-purpose PTFE sheets are not automatically suitable for gas stove protection. Never obstruct burner ports, igniters, gas outlets, ventilation openings, or appliance safety components.

For compatible gas appliances, Premium Plus offers separately manufactured precision-cut stove protector liners.

4. Overheating and Fume Hazards

Overheated PTFE may release potentially harmful decomposition fumes. Do not exceed the material's verified operating temperature. Maintain adequate ventilation during approved heated applications.

Pet birds are particularly sensitive to fumes from overheated PTFE. Keep birds away from areas where PTFE-coated materials are heated.

Stop use immediately if the sheet smokes, produces unusual odors, discolors, or shows signs of overheating.

5. Food Contact Restrictions

Do not use these general-purpose sheets directly with food, for baking, or for grilling unless Premium Plus expressly identifies the specific product as suitable for those applications.

6. Cutting and Modifications

Cut only when cool. Customers must verify that trimmed pieces are suitable for their intended application. Do not allow material to interfere with equipment operation or contact flames, heating elements, or moving components.

7. Customer Responsibility and Liability

Customers are responsible for confirming compatibility with their intended applications, following all provided safety instructions, and complying with equipment manufacturer requirements.
